Camera Reviews:Above is some of the camera reviews that I have put together so far. These are to give you a basic idea of the different models and prices attatched to them. These digital camera reviews are by no means an extensive review but just a general gist of things. The price shown is the MSRP and should not be considered the over all price, inside the reviews I have put links to amazon for each item. There you can find more extensive reviews and the actual lower out the door pricing on most items. |

Nikon D3000The Nikon D3000 has been aimed more towards the beginners or entry level enthusiasts but this in no way should take away from the sheer quality of this nikon dslr. The Nikon D3000, with a 10.2 megapixel DX-format CCD APS-C image sensor, 11-point Autofocus system with 3D tracking and 18-55mm lens is nothing short of every thing a beginner could dream of. If you didn't understand some of the things stated in that last sentence then that should tell you this digital dslr is more than enough for you. Since you are probably coming from the point and shoot class into the dlsr class you are fairly familiar with the menu options. The Nikon D3000 has no shortage of options for you to play with and in return optimize your pictures. |

So over all what can we take from the digital Nikon D3000, Well its priced perfectly for what your getting. Although the megapixel resolution is only 10.2 don't let this scare you away from the great camera at hand. Odds are you aren't going to be blowing any pictures up to there max anyhow so this shouldn't even be a worry. It comes with all your basic slr functions and this will take you a very long time to get comfortable with. Over all I give this a thumbs up and recommend it to any novice out there to learn and grow from. You can check out some more detailed stats on the actual review page here Nikon D3000
